WASHINGTON – February 10, 2015 — Proof Strategies, a full-service North American public relations and marketing communications agency, today announced that Kelly Mack has been promoted to a vice president in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
“Kelly’s promotion is a reflection of her excellent client service, management of strategic communications campaigns, and ability to generate results for a wide range of clients in the nonprofit, association, health, and technology sectors,” said Proof U.S. General Manager Dave Groobert.
Mack joined Environics’ Washington office in 2011. In addition to her promotion, Mack was also recently named to the board ofWashington Women in Public Relations (WWPR), where she serves as co-chair of the professional development committee.
Prior to joining Environics, Mack served as communications manager for the remodelers division at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). In this role, she conceived and implemented communications strategies, including advocacy efforts and issues management related to regulation, policy, and legal concerns. She also handled all traditional and digital communications directed to association members, consumers, and national media.
Prior to NAHB, Mack worked at the Child Welfare League of America, where she co-edited a special edition of Child Welfare, a peer-reviewed scholarly publication of child welfare research. She was also a program manager for the League’s adoption services, planned national conferences, and supported the “AdoptUsKids” federal contract.
Mack earned a master’s degree in communication from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bryn Mawr College. In addition to WWPR, she is also on the board of the D.C. Bryn Mawr College club and frequently contributes to theRheumatoidArthritis.net blog.
